ICQ2GO is now based on Flash 7

This is probably late news, but still a surprise to me: the new web-based ICQ client – known as ICQ2GO – is now based on Flash 7. Previous versions were Java-based, and to my experience it managed to barely run on Netscape/Mozilla browsers or on Mac systems – I expect the new version to be quite an advancement when it comes down to performance and visual unity across different systems.

That’s great, just yesterday I saw that ICQ also has a great Flash-based IRC client:

Its really nice to see those type of communication tools getting Flash front-ends.

Who are the people making these awesome front-ends, and why don’t they blog?

probably because we are too busy working to write down every meaningless thought for the public to read.
